little springs, little deaths is a collection of screenprinted foil candy wrappers. a discarded candy wrapper’s portrait was printed at ten-fold scale, cut into fragments, and screen printed onto pristine, unused candy wrappers. after printing, the wrappers were separated. each was then impressed in a different way by hand, in a futile attempt to physically recall the original foil form.
